The NEW Slingshot REV is the answer for every kiter looking for the performance requirements of a traditional “C” shape kite but more of the depower range of a dedicated bow kite.

The REV is a 4 line hybrid kite that has a unique compact bridle and comes complete with the NEW Directdrive control bar.

The NEW Directdrive control bar eliminates the use of pulleys on the water and features the NEW Center Safety System which brings 100% depower safety and convenience below the bar.

After many seasons of research and development, Slingshot has finalized the Rev, and in doing so, created a kite that will be truly accessible for riders of every level.

The Rev takes the speed and performance of Slingshot’s legendary Fuel and the depower and water relauch of the Turbo Diesel 2 and combines them into an easy to use, indestructible kite. Operating on a redesigned bridle, the Rev has the ability to depower without sacrificing turning speed and control. The Rev’s bar pressure is incredibly light, but still exists enough to inform the rider where the kite sits in the window. The kite performs equally well unhooked and hooked in.

The Rev’s control bar is the most innovative part of this new kite. The Rev operates on a 4 line, 5th line style system. What this means is that when the rider unhooks and drops the bar, the kite is depowered similar to the way a 5th line would depower a C-kite (the kite falls from the sky with little to no pull on the rider). Identical to the T2, relaunching the Rev requires the rider to simply pull on one of the outside lines. The Rev then flips over and flies back into the sky. Kiteboarding has never been this good!
